Jadeplume Terrorshroom is the final opponent in the Tavern Card Challenge in version 3.3. It has an unfair amount of HP and massive Elemental Burst damage. But of course, once we understand and use the skills, it has its own weakness. Another tough boss is Maguu Kenki and you can check that outinstructions herefor your challenge.

Jadeplume Terrorshroom Skillset
There is only one enemy here and that is the Jadeplume Terrorshroom. But don't underestimate him because he has36 CVfrom the beginning. The main problem with his abilities are Elemental Burst and Passive Skill.
Your passive skills will take care of thatradical vitalitywhen the fight starts. Then you gain another stack of Radical Vitality. Each time it deals or takes elemental damage (max 4 stacks since Jadeplume uses itTalent mapin this challenge). After each phase ends when Jadeplume has4 stacks of Radical Vitality, the batteries will run out and you will lose all energy, which is good! BUT, if you didn't manage to stack it by 4 before the end of the stage, or if Jadeplume decides to cast Elemental Burst before the end of the stage, you're in danger.
Your Elemental Burst deals 4 Dendro damage for the price of 2 Energy. It then consumes all stacks of Radical Vitality, dealing +1 DMG for each stack consumed. In other words:
No battery:4 Dendro-DMGBy default
1 line:5 Dendro-DMG
2 lines:6 Dendro-DMG
3 lines:7 Dendro-DMG
4 lines:8 Dendro-DMG
In the picture above, Jadeplume Terrorshroom has 3 stacks of Radical Vitality(the green arrow), and goes for Elemental Burst, resulting in 7 Dendro DMG. If your character has less than 8 HP, it's a one-shot attack from the boss. But don't worry, I have a simple strategy for this attack which is mentioned below. For the full list of Jadeplume Terrorshroom attacks, see this page:All Genius Summon TCG card lists.
If you notice, yes I use the exact same deck as my Maguu Kenki Guide. This is because Diluc is particularly good against bosses with high HP, as his Elemental Burst can kill them in a few hits, even one shot if you're lucky enough to meet all the conditions (Mona's Burst + Bennett's Burst + Lots of Fire cards). ). Support ). But if you haven't read my Maguu Kenki guide, don't worry because here I will explain the function of each card.
by Monaelemental ability and normal attackare key here, as they deal Hydro damage to the Jadeplume Terrorshroom, allowing it to gain stacks of Radical Vitality (this is important, but I'll explain later in the strategy). If you're lucky and she doesn't die, her Elemental Burst can also double the next damage dealt to the active character, making Diluc's damage even more powerful.
Diluc can take advantage of Jadeplume's wet state andtrigger evaporation reactionsto do great damage. His burst is also important because he can deal 10+ DMG with a few simple conditions. But it's not a big deal if you don't have time to use his burst, as it's also possible to win the challenge without using his burst and focusing on the Skill Elemental.
Bennett is the party's healer, which can be used when Diluc or Mona are low on HP to cast Elemental Burst, which is possibleheals active character/increases next damage. Even better if you bring your Talent Card!
Honestly, there aren't many big main cards here, but there are still a few that I think are important. Of the 30 action cards, the following are the most important cards to prioritize:
broadcast worldwideHeal your standby character for 2 turns. Personally I think this is a better option than Cathedral of Favonius which heals the active character. This is because I often leave the highest HP card the active character while the standby character is healed by the support card.
Cais do Porto de Liyue:Draw 2 cards. This increases the chance that you will get better cards. And if you don't, you can sacrifice those cards for Elemental Tuning.
Katarina:This is the most important card so you can skip lines when changing characters. Changing the active character is now considered a quick action instead of a combat action. Try to get this card in the first round and use it. Restarting the game just to get this card is also an option you know~
Fervent Flames of Elemental Resonance:All Pyro-related reactions in the turn deal more damage! Best card for this fight, especially for Diluc when using his Skill or Burst.
Woven Flames of Elemental Resonance:Create 1 Pyro Cube.
The best travel companion:Converts elementary data to Omni elements. Suitable for any time. Craps sucks.
Strategy:Draw 2 cards like Liyue Harbor Wharf, which gives you more chances to get good cards suitable for the round.
video games and strategy
As you can see in the video I didn't use a lot of support cards. So if you have problems with the deck during the fight, you can change the action cards as you like, except for the important ones I mentioned earlier.
1. Achieve victory
2. Achieve victory in 5 rounds
3. Win with less than 2 defeated characters
The video I provided above won the challenge in exactly 5 rounds with only one dead character and completed all the objectives. By the way, the video skips 2 times because it takes an unnecessarily long time if I leave it that way.
At the start of the challenge, first select Mona as the active character. so make sureshe meets Jadeplume Terrorshroom twice! And by attacks I meanelementary skills firstThennormal attack. In this form, he attacks Jadeplume three times (including Reflection) before the start of the second turn.
ONE ESSENTIAL:YOU MUST FINISH THE PHASE FIRST FOR MONAS REFLEX TO INCREASE THE STACK TO 4. If Jadeplume has 3 stacks andFinish the round first, then when Reflection hits it with Elemental DMG, Jadeplume starts the next turn with 4 stacks instead of resetting them.
As you can see from Jadeplume's intent in the image above, it is 100% confirmed that he will cast the Elemental skill on the first turn = he will gain 1 stack of Radical Vitality for himself. So you have to make sure your characterhit Jadeplume three times with Elemental DMGat the end of the first round and you will lose all energy! How does this happen? Here's a breakdown:
1. You start attacking with Mona's Elemental Skill(+1 Radical Vitality)
2. Jadeplume Terrorshroom uses elemental abilities to deal elemental damage(+1 Radical Vitality)
3. You attack with Mona's normal attack(+1 Radical Vitality)
4. Complete the round before Jadeplume & Reflection Hydro deal DMG(+1 Radical Vitality)
And with that, Jadeplume has 4 stacks of Radical Vitality andlose all energywhen the phase ends and Elemental Burst cannot be cast in the next phase. If you haven't done what I mentioned above, Jadeplume has at least 1 stack and on the next turn it will release Elemental Burst as its first turn!
When the second round startedSwitch to Diluc and use his elemental ability to activate Vaporize. After this playthrough you are on your own as the dice and cards you receive are random and don't follow my video tutorial 100%. Switch between characters to keep them alive, use appropriate cards when you find the best time to activate, and activate elemental reactions to deal more damage.
One last thing to keep in mind,Read Jadeplume's intention. If you don't interrupt his Radical Vitality stacks, he'll have the exact same moveset every time you challenge him. Work smart, don't work hard~ 😉
